Itinerary

• Day 1

Arrival to Slovenia and transfer to Goriska Brda. Then indulge at Belica with late lunch, where they are real cooking magicians and serves you with Slovenian traditional food with the hint of Italian cuisine. Overnight

• Day 2

Morning stop in the winery and taste the local wine accompanied with the right food for the best experience possible. Ascend on the top of the observation tower in Gonjace. From there is the best view on rolling hills and well-groomed vineyards. If the weather is nice, you can see as far as to Adriatic sea and the Dolomites. Follows pleasant stroll through medieval village of Smartno. Narrow streets lead us to the church of St. Martin, House of culture, typical “Brda” house from this area, and at last to House Marica where we raise a glass of wine (or two). In the afternoon visit of Cedad (Cividade del Friuli), historic town on the Italian side. The last stop this day is winery on the other side of the border, in Italy.  Cellar at this winery is modern and huge, quite the opposite of the morning one. Overnight.

• Day 3

Morning visit of winery Scurek. Our tour is concluded with a glass of sparkling wine at Bjana cellar.
