Visit Bled, the most popular tourist resort in Slovenia and the pearl of the Alpine region. The highest and most popular Slovenian mountain comprises the only Slovenian national park with many lakes, forests, high peaks and diverse fauna and flora. Be amazed at unique, untouched nature of Pokljuka plateau with stunning panorama to great part of Triglav National Park including Bohinj Valley, Alps and small part of Bohinj Lake. This plateau conducts itself with small valley of numerous Alpine chalets where used to live and work Alpine herdsmen. Luckily, we meet one, who serves us domestic Alpine feast of dried sausages, cheese, “zaseka” (minced lard) and of course, home-made, but drinkable spirit. Do not be surprised if cows which surround us will try to steal from you a piece of bread. We get familiar with traditional way of living of former herdsmen and cheese production. Return from peaceful paradise back to civilization in late afternoon.
